Tokyo International Players Presents Rodgers and Hart's
THE BOYS FROM SYRACUSE

Greek History 101, anyone? I don't think so! Make way for "The Boys From Syracuse," a hilarious adaptation of Shakespeare's "The Comedy of Errors," brought to you by Tokyo's most popular English-language theatre company, Tokyo International Players.

The Bard himself would be rolling over this laugh-a minute romp tracking the meanderings of two sets of twins through the misguided machinations of mistaken identity, slapstick antics and wacky romance via the melodious score written by Richard Rodgers and Larry Hart which has delighted audiences since its Broadway opening in 1938. Filled with such jazz standards as "This Can't Be Love" and "Falling In Love With Love", this fun-filled musical comedy promises an evening of pure enjoyment.

Veteran director, Hank Roberts commands a multi-talented cast of 23 which includes actors Jonathan Mercer, Fiona Knight, Brett Coleman, Amy Jorrisch, Nori Konishi, Jun Imal, and Jane Mullooly; musical direction by April Racana and choreography by Colleen Lanki. Performances will be held at the Sun Mall Theatre in Shinjuku on Friday, February 27th at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, February 28th at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 1st at 3 p.m. Tickets are ¥4,000 for adults and ¥2,500 for students and are available by calling the box office at (03) 3447-1981 starting February 18th from 9 a.m. to noon.
